Disgusted ex-Customer

They have been our property management company for several years. They were not responsive once our board changed at the beginning of the year. They even began to give attitude regarding our questioning of their vendor practices, lack of process regarding bids for cost saving purposes, under budgeting of finances, serious lack of customer service by not attending meetings, misconveying information to both residents and vendors, seldom visiting the actual property itself to assess the issues, not overseeing the vendors doing work on the property, not providing timely responses to email or calls regarding important situations having to do with health issues and property damage issues. We realized that they never re-negotiated contracts and that invoices were being paid without any oversight requirement from our association until this year. We were overpaying or incorrectly paying things and were never told because they were not looking. Based on our questions and the pressure we put on them to provide all information to our board for oversight and approval, they determined we were not worth the bother and cancelled our contract. It wasn't surprising. We had been told it would happen from other associations in our area. It seems to be their business practice once a client proves to be too aware of their contract and wants it enforced. It shows a serious lack of customer service and character.
